This bench is located inside the Palm House at Sefton Park in the south of Liverpool. It is a greatplace to sit and provides lovely views of the leafy interior.

I particularly liked its arm rests, which are shaped as winged lions, and its proximity to the bright yellow trumpet shaped Brugmansia flowers to the right of the picture.

However, I was a bit put off when the friend I was with googled the plant and found out that “All parts of Brugmansia are poisonous, with the seeds and leaves being especially dangerous”. Thanks Wikipedia!
