These are some of a number of benches in Heaton Moor Park, Stockport. Some have been provided by the Council, some through funds raised by the Friends of the Park Group. One was funded by a group of knitters who meet in the park pavilion once a week. They are a plain, utilitarian and very sturdy metal construction.
