3. By uploading a photograph onto you agree to grant to Gill Moore, free of charge, permission to use your content in the following ways-

(a) reproduced or exhibited as part of The World Bench Project prints and artwork

(b) published in any associated catalogue or book produced in conjunction with The World Bench Project,

(c) reproduced in any external promotion(s) related to The World Bench Project or Gill Moore’s work.

* This permission is non-exclusive, so you can continue to use the material in any way including allowing others to use it.


All images and text relating to bench uploads remain the intellectual property of each project participant.  However, permission to use the images and text in relation to “The World Bench Project” website and any subsequent publications or exhibitions is granted by all contributors.  This fact is acknowledged by acceptance of these Terms and Conditions when asked for confirmation during image file and story uploads.


4.  Prints taken from your uploaded photograph will not be sold for commercial purposes unless specifically agreed with individual contributors.


5. All images uploaded and published to The World Bench Project  website by participants to the project remain the copyright of the owner of each individual who took the relevant photograph (s) or the licenced rights owner.


6. In order that The World Bench Project can use your photograph (s), you confirm that all images are your own original work, is not defamatory and does not infringe any applicable laws, that you have the right to give The World Bench Project permission to use the images and story for the purposes specified above, and that you have the consent of anyone who is identifiable in your photograph or the consent of their parent / guardian if they are under 16.


7. We will endeavour to credit your name with your photograph, unless you request otherwise, but this may not always be possible. The World Bench Project may need to contact you for administrative or verification purposes in relation to your contribution to The World Bench Project.


8. You may not submit or share any defamatory or illegal material of any nature on Contributing material to with the intention of committing or promoting an illegal act is strictly prohibited.
